From Timor. Brown to black culms striped with green. Erect habit, few hairs on culm sheaths with some stripping. Similar to Gigantochloa atroviolacea, “Tropical Black”. Has branches on the lower part of the culms. This plant is in high demand and limited stock. A must have for bamboo collectors.
