History of the Nursery
1978
Back in 1978, this land wasn't a nursery at all – it was actually a hydroponic tomato farm.
That's when Chuck and Cay Dee started a small nursery in what was once a very rural part of town.
1985
As Fort Bend County grew, so did the nursery. Chuck started by landscaping and growing plants for his clients.
1995
Cay Dee developed an interest in rare and unusual plants, building a reputation as a knowledgeable source for tropicals and hard-to-find varieties.
2006
Chuck shifted his focus to bamboo – something hardly anyone else inthe area was selling. It turned out to be a hit, especially for folks looking for natural privacy screens for their yards.
2016
Expanded the nursery and gardens.
Present
Today, Chuck's focus remains the same – creating plant combinations to give customers inspiration, and offering unique plants so every customer can take home something special.
